A lot of men drop by in our interviews, but this time it's time for a woman!

She has been working at WBE for 4 years and arranges various administrative matters for WBE. Annebel Zwinkels certainly stands her ground in this man's world! As a single mother she is not only busy at work, but also at home with her 4 children. Read all about her work and hobbies in our latest interview.

Tell us about yourself (age, relationship, place of residence, etc.) 

I am 33 years old and I live with my 4 sweet (and sometimes naughty) children in 's-Gravenzande. The eldest is called Dane and is 11 years old, followed by Liv of 10 years, Nova of 8 years and Evi of 6 years. A house full of fun!

What are your hobbies (besides the hard work at WBE)?

Besides the work at WBE, I'm mainly concerned with making sure the children have a good time and have fun, so we often go out or going to play with friends. When the children are with their father I have time to myself. Then I like to go to the beach or go to a terrace. I would like to play tennis again. I always did this during the week, but that is nowadays not possible with the children. I would like to go and play on the weekends. Because this is not yet possible, I regularly go to the gym.

What did you study? 

I started very enthusiastically at the VWO, that enthusiasm declined over the years and also puberty and stubbornness struck and I started working and gained experience through work and some courses.

What did you do before you started working at WBE? 

Before I started working at WBE, I took care of my, then, very young children at home for a number of years and I did the administration of my ex-husband's business. I ended up at WBE through Randstad. I already knew WBE, since my brother did an internship here. I have been working here for 4 years now.

In which department do you work at WBE?

I work in the administration team, always fun and completely my thing.

At which branch do you work?

I work at WBE Westland. With only very pleasant colleagues.

What does your average working day look like? 

I started at 9 am every morning after taking the kids to school. I always grab a nice cup of cappuccino first and then my working day can really start. Every morning I start by checking the mail and see where I am going to start that day. That is different every day, but spread over the week my work consists of answering the phone, processing invoices in Elvy / Exact, entering the import invoices, checking invoices in Elvy, accounting for cash, keeping stock of office supplies etc. no two days are the same.

What do you like best about your job? 

I like that we have a great working atmosphere and that no two days are the same. I have never reluctantly gone to work.

What do you like least about your job?

I like to do everything right, and as a working mother (maybe a father too, and maybe not all mothers) I often feel like I fall short at home and fall short at work.

What is your favorite product? Why? 

Of course I don't really work with the products, but the scent of the eucalyptus makes me really happy and I also really like it standing between a bunch of flowers.

Do you have any ambitions within WBE?

I would like to stay with WBE for a very long time and hope to be able to expand my hours and activities as the children get older.
