She has been working for WBE since 1987 in the administration department and can officially enjoy her retirement. Fortunately, we do not have to miss her yet as she still works one day a week with us! A perfect moment to put her in the spotlight.
We are of course talking about our colleague Marianne. In the interview, she tells all about her years at WBE. Read on quickly.

Tell us something about yourself (age, relationship, place of residence etc.)
I am Marianne and I work at WBE since 1987. I am 66 years old and live in Maasdijk and have been in a relationship with Peter for 7 years.
What are your hobbies (besides working hard at WBE)?
My hobbies are working in the garden around the house, cycling and travelling and discovering things in various countries.
What education did you receive?
I went to the MULO in Naaldwijk.
What did you do before you started working at WBE?
When I left school, I worked at the Rabobank for more than a year, after which I worked for various companies at the flower auction.
In which department do you work at WBE?
At the administration department.
At which branch do you work?
WBE Westland.
What does your average working day look like?
Various tasks such as checking invoices and everything that comes with it.
What do you like most about your job?
The diversity in my work and my colleagues.
What do you like least about your job?
That is actually nothing, I always enjoy going to work and at WBE they are committed and good to their staff.
What is your favourite product? Why?
Bear grass, those blades that stick out nicely from the bouquet.
Do you still have ambitions within WBE?
Given my approaching retirement, this is not really on the agenda anymore.
