There are over 600 different varieties of Eucalyptus. Populus is a well-known eucalyptus variety that is popular as decoration green. There are several types of Populus available on the market.

The ‘typical’ Populus variety has greyish leaves in varying sizes that have a waxy texture. Populus is a bouquet filler. We stock two different types of Populus: the typical Populus foliage and Populus berry, which comes with small berries that are intermixed with the leaves. These berries add a playful effect to the otherwise green foliage, which is identical in both varieties. The Populus plant grows berries every other year.

Red Populus is another popular product. Though identical in shape, these branches come in a dusty red hue, which makes it perfect for Christmas settings. Populus can also be dyed different colours.

Southern Europe is considered the warmer part of Europe. Sunny countries such as Spain belong to this group. Due to the fact that this area lies closer to the equator and is under the influence of the Mediterranean Sea, Southern Europe experiences mainly dry, hot summers and mild, wet winters. Products such as Pistache, Eucalyptus and Viburnum come from these sunny countries.
