There is quite a journey behind our products. We are happy to take you through the different steps of the process. That is why we approached several suppliers with a small interview and the question whether they would like to share some photos with us. Every month we will share these interviews with you, to give you a look behind the scenes.

This month we put our Australian supplier Premium Greens in the spotlight.

From Australia we import products such as Koala Fern, Flexigrass, Spear Grass and Umbrella Fern.

We spoke to Harold, the Premium Greens Sales Manager by email. He gave us more information about the company, its activities and the relationship with WBE.

Can you tell us more about the company?

Premium Greens Australia is the leading producer in Australia of wild harvested native Australian greens. Our lines vary from Koala fern, Goanna claw, Emu feather etc. to the more familiar lines like Umbrella fern and Steel grass.

What does your company stand for?

Premium Greens Australia stands for Sustainability, Quality and Exclusive. Our greens enable designers to set themselves apart from the masses.

How long have you been supplying WBE?

Since Peter Baak was young and handsome! Over 20 years.

What is your role within the company?

Sales Manager

What does your day look like?

Like your days but then 8 hours ahead. Lots of paperwork and putting out fires. Selling, buying, organising freight, making paperwork etc

Do you have any tips/tricks for your product?

Always keep our product between 2 and 8 degrees. Keep our products in their sleeve and in the box for as long as possible to prevent drying out. It will give you the longest shelf life. A lot of people are used to taking products out of the box and putting on water asap after arrival of the boxes in their warehouse but our product actually lasts longer in the sleeve and box.
