We had to wait 10 years for it, but April 2022 is the day: the Floriade Expo.
The moment to enjoy flowers, plants and foliage together with visitors from all over the world in a special world built on the Expo site in Almere.
Thanks to the Floriade, the horticultural sector gets the podium it deserves! An important thing, because horticulture is essential for our common future.
During the Floriade expo 2022 you will discover solutions from innovators from Holland and abroad that make our cities more fun, more beautiful and more sustainable while enjoying the most beautiful colours of flowers, special types of greenery and trendy plants. Dive into the theme “Growing Green Cities” this year.
From 14 April 2022, the exhibition will take place for six months in the youngest city in the Netherlands: Almere. The Floriade Park is a feast of greenery and sustainable technology. You could think of it as a living laboratory. New technologies for green, food, energy and health are being researched and applied. In addition, there is plenty to see, smell, taste and do during the Floriade!
The nice thing about the Floriade is that in addition to a lot of information, there is also plenty to do. The Floriade is fun for young and old! Surprising innovations are interspersed with inspiring gardens, a cable car over the exhibition, art arrangements and shows.
A major goal of the Floriade is that it inspires people to live more sustainable and healthier. It is the intention that after a day at the Expo you go home with all kinds of inspiring ideas. For example, how you can enrich your garden, balcony or living room. In this way you also contribute to the green city of the future.
WBE can call itself a proud sponsor of the Floriade 2022. For six months we sponsor a wide range of different types of foliage at the Floriade. Not only will our foliage be seen in the entire greenhouse that can be found at the Floriade. The greenery will also be used in the 22 shows that will be given during the Expo.
