Chaenomeles branches are a true treasure for florists. Derived from the Chaenomeles shrub, also known as Japanese Dwarf Quince, these versatile branches not only add a unique element to arrangements, but also offer various opportunities for creativity.
Let's dive into the world of Chaenomeles branches and discover why they are a must-have for any florist.

Chaenomeles is a shrub native to East Asia. But we import the branches weekly from Germany.
The branches of this ornamental shrub are known for their beautiful blossoms and striking leaf structure. What makes Chaenomeles branches so attractive is their growth pattern. They thrive in a variety of soil types and can grow in both full sun and partial shade.
An added advantage is that the Chaenomeles is a naked bloomer, meaning that the blossom blooms even before there are any leaves on the branches. This makes the blossom extra noticeable!
The supplier in Germany cuts the branches when most of the blossoms are still closed, this gives the branches a chance to bloom beautifully at your customers. The branches are sorted by length, ready to come our way. We received some pictures from our supplier which we would like to share with you.
Chaenomeles shrubs have several species, each with its own characteristics. Some popular species are the Chaenomeles japonica and Chaenomeles speciosa. We offer in our web shop only the Chaenomeles Japonica. This species is known for its early flowering and brightly colored flowers. We offer the blossom branches in two colors. The well-known pink variety, but also a beautiful white variety.

On their own in a vase, incorporated into a large bouquet or in an arrangement, Chaenomelia branches are always a good idea to get started.
Experiment with the different Chaenomeles colors and discover the endless possibilities these special branches offer for creating breathtaking floral arrangements.
